BMO Capital analyst Evan David Seigerman reiterated an Outperform rating and $600.00 price target on Vertex (NASDAQ: VRTX).

The analyst comments "AMPLIFIED broadens the inaxaplin opportunity and derisks Ph 2/3 AMPLITUDE interim data in 2027. In patients with AMKD and modest proteinuria, inaxaplin reduced urine albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR) by 42.7%, supporting efficacy beyond the severe-proteinuria population being studied in AMPLITUDE. The T2D cohort demonstrated a more modest 17.3% UACR reduction, which appears directionally encouraging in a potentially more challenging disease setting and deserving of further study. With AMPLITUDE fully enrolled and interim data in early 2027, today's update reinforces inaxaplin's best-in-class potential. Reiterate OP and $600/sh target."
