Instacart and Gopuff announce U.S. marketplace partnership
Instacart (NASDAQ: CART) and Gopuff announced an agreement for Gopuff to join the Instacart Marketplace and adopt Instacart's Carrot Ads technology to power advertising on Gopuff's digital storefront in the U.S.
Under the arrangement, Instacart customers will be able to order from Gopuff's inventory of thousands of everyday essentials, including fresh groceries, snacks, beverages, and household staples. Gopuff will fulfill and deliver those orders using its own network of micro-fulfillment centers, with delivery times as fast as 15 minutes. Gopuff operates 365 days a year with 24/7 delivery in select locations.
The partnership also extends Instacart's advertising ecosystem to Gopuff's customer base. More than 9,000 brand advertisers using Instacart Ads will be able to reach Gopuff and BevMo! consumers through the integration. BevMo!, the specialty beverage retailer owned by Gopuff, has been an existing Instacart Marketplace partner.
Gopuff will join more than 2,200 retail banners currently on the Instacart Marketplace. Instacart's Carrot Ads platform has more than 310 partners.

"Through this partnership with Instacart, Gopuff will now have access to world-class retail media technology and a massive advertiser ecosystem," said Alberto Menolascina, Chief Business Officer at Gopuff.
Ali Miller, General Manager of Advertising at Instacart, said the partnership allows brands to "further scale their reach and results by extending Instacart Ads to the millions of on-demand consumers who shop on Gopuff directly."
The information is based on a joint press release issued by the two companies.
