Endeavour Silver's Guanacevi mine mill to run at reduced capacity
Endeavour Silver Corp. (NYSE: EXK) reported a mechanical issue affecting the primary ball mill at its Guanacevi Mine in Mexico, according to a company press release.
The mill was taken offline on September 21 to allow for replacement of the mill head and trunnion. The company said both components are available on site and that repairs are expected to be completed within approximately three weeks, with third-party service providers engaged to expedite the work.
During the repair period, the regrind circuit will operate at a reduced throughput of 600 tonnes per day, compared to the normal capacity of approximately 1,100 tonnes per day. Mining operations will continue uninterrupted throughout the repair period.

The company said the cost of the repairs is expected to be minimal, as the required parts are already held in on-site inventory.
