Walhalla Gold Corp. (CSE: WAU) (OTCQB: WAUXF) has appointed Owen Greenberger as Vice President of Exploration, according to a company statement.

Greenberger brings nearly two decades of Australian exploration experience, including approximately eight years at the Fosterville Gold Mine in Victoria, where he was part of the geological team involved in the discovery of the Lower Phoenix orogenic gold system, including the Swan and Eagle orebodies.

He subsequently held senior exploration roles at the Morning Star mine and with Kirkland Lake Gold, where he managed exploration across more than 1,600 square kilometers and oversaw more than $30 million in exploration expenditure. His experience includes orogenic gold, antimony-bearing, porphyry, and VMS mineral systems.

Greenberger has also held executive responsibilities covering joint venture management, Indigenous land access agreements, ASX reporting, and capital raising.

CEO Steve Jukes said in the statement: "Owen brings the senior geological judgement, regional targeting experience and exploration leadership required to help us execute that strategy."

Walhalla Gold holds the Walhalla Gold Project in Victoria, comprising 1,230 square kilometers of concessions. The company states it has been consolidating historical geological and exploration data to evaluate and prioritize targets across its portfolio, which includes the Cohen's Reef area and the Pinnacles target, described as fully permitted and ready for drilling.
