Qnity Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: Q) has been added to the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index (SOX), according to a company statement.

The PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index is a modified market capitalization-weighted index that tracks the performance of the 30 largest eligible semiconductor companies listed in the United States.

"Joining the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index marks another important milestone for Qnity as a public company," said Jon Kemp, Chief Executive Officer of Qnity. "Our inclusion reflects the scale and relevance of our business across the semiconductor value chain and the important role our technologies play in enabling AI, high-performance computing and advanced connectivity."

Qnity, based in Wilmington, Del., describes itself as a provider of materials and integration solutions across the semiconductor value chain.
