Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) has introduced the XPS Googlebook, a 13-inch laptop built around Google's Gemini Intelligence platform and powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor from Qualcomm Technologies.

The device weighs 2.2 lbs and measures 12.7mm thin, featuring an aluminum chassis and a 2.5K InfinityEdge touch display with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and 500 nits of brightness. The display supports a variable refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz. The laptop is available with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory.

According to Dell's internal testing conducted in August 2026, the XPS Googlebook delivers up to 16 hours of Netflix streaming on a single charge, with display brightness set to 150 nits and wireless enabled.

The laptop includes a feature called Magic Pointer, which allows users to activate Gemini by moving the cursor. A physical indicator on the lid called the Glowbar displays battery and charging status when the device is closed.

The XPS Googlebook syncs with Android phones, allowing users to access phone files, notifications, and Android apps directly on the laptop without additional installations.

"Google and Android users are some of the most engaged people in tech, and they deserve a premium laptop built specifically for them," said Konstantin Tuv, head of consumer and gaming products at Dell Technologies.

John Maletis, Vice President of Laptops and Devices at Google, said the XPS Googlebook represents "premium hardware designed specifically around Gemini Intelligence and the Android ecosystem."

The XPS Googlebook starts at $999 and is currently available at Best Buy and Google Stores. Dell said it will be available on Dell.com in October.
