TruGolf Links and Polymath plan tokenized financing for franchisees
TruGolf Links Franchising, LLC, a subsidiary of TruGolf Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRUG), announced two financing initiatives with Polymath Research Inc., a privately held Canadian technology company specializing in tokenized digital securities, according to a press release.
The first initiative involves an equipment leasing plan for qualified franchise candidates, funded through a tokenized securities offering on the Polymath platform. The second initiative would allow qualified candidates to develop offerings on the Polymath platform, giving investors the opportunity to participate in fractional ownership of a TruGolf Links franchise.
"A chronic issue in franchising is financing," said Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Development Officer for TruGolf Links Franchising. "Given Polymath's unique platform and technology, we are working on providing an equipment leasing plan for qualified franchise candidates to access the full suite of products from TruGolf."

Matt Andelman, Head of Business Development at Polymath, said the initiatives "have the potential to support the continued development of TruGolf Links," adding that Polymath's platform brings "the financial marketplace within reach to a franchisee, especially those who want to be Regional Developers."
TruGolf announced in August 2026 that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Polymath, with the transaction expected to close by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The two financing initiatives are expected to be in place by the first quarter of 2027, contingent on the completion of that acquisition.
