Investing.com -- The U.S. Department of War awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) a $112.4 million contract modification on Thursday to upgrade and maintain the F-15 Saudi Advanced Aircrew Training Device Phase II program.

The firm-fixed-price modification increases the total contract value to $256.7 million from $144.3 million. Boeing originally received the contract in 2017.

Work will take place at King Faisal Air Base, King Khalid Air Base, and King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The project is scheduled for completion by Sept. 30, 2031.

The contract is part of a foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia. The full $112.4 million in foreign military funds was obligated at the time of the award.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio manages the contract.
