ACI Worldwide adds financial messaging to its Connetic platform
ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW) announced the expansion of its ACI Connetic platform with a cloud-native financial messaging capability designed to help banks manage payments across domestic and cross-border networks.
The new capability allows banks to translate, validate, enrich, and route messages in real time, supporting interoperability between legacy systems and modern infrastructure. It also addresses ISO 20022 requirements, including the adoption of richer and more structured payment data.
According to the company, the financial messaging technology is embedded within the ACI Connetic platform and allows banks to decouple messaging from core payment processing. ACI says this architecture can reduce operational friction and provide real-time visibility across payment flows.

"Financial messaging is the connective tissue of modern payments," said Craig Ramsey, global head of account-to-account payments at ACI Worldwide. "Built into ACI Connetic, our advanced financial messaging capabilities provide banks with a single, intelligent foundation to manage messages across rails and formats."
Thomas Warsop, president and CEO of ACI Worldwide, said the platform combines cloud-native processing, intelligent messaging, and data intelligence. "With ACI Connetic, we're helping financial institutions turn payment complexity into strategic advantage," he said.
The announcement follows earlier expansions of the ACI Connetic platform, including support for eight major U.S. payment networks. The company also previously announced adoption of ACI Connetic by banks in the UK and Europe.
