Mobix Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBX) announced it has received a follow-on production order exceeding $1 million for RF sensing subsystems through its RaGE Systems division, according to a press release from the Irvine, California-based company.

The order was placed by an unnamed security-technology provider and supports a U.S. government program focused on detecting concealed threats. The subsystems function as sensing components within the customer's threat-detection platform, capturing raw sensor data used to identify concealed metallic and non-metallic threats. Multiple units are integrated into each platform.

Chief Executive Officer Phil Sansone said in a statement: "A demanding customer trusted us to design a complex sensing subsystem; we proved it out, and now they have come back with a production order in excess of $1 million."

The subsystems are designed and manufactured in the United States, drawing on the company's work in wideband RF receivers, transmitters, and multi-function assemblies for defense and security applications. The order follows previous production orders from the same customer.

Mobix Labs operates through subsidiaries including EMI Solutions and RaGE Systems, serving aerospace, defense, and communications markets.
