DoorDash signs multiyear deal as NHL's official delivery partner
DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH) and the National Hockey League have announced a multiyear partnership naming DoorDash the exclusive Official On-Demand Delivery and Pick Up Partner of the NHL in Canada and the United States, beginning with the 2026-27 season.
Under the agreement, DoorDash receives marketing rights including use of NHL marks, broadcast-visible branding through digitally enhanced dasherboards during nationally televised games, and integration at events such as the Discover NHL Winter Classic and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
In Canada, the partnership launches with a DoorDash Puck Drop promotion on Sept. 29, 2026, the opening day of the 2026-27 season, followed by game night deals every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the regular season. DoorDash will also serve as the presenting sponsor of all Wednesday night regular-season national NHL games and Stanley Cup Playoff games broadcast on Prime Video in Canada.

DoorDash will also be present at the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic in Winnipeg on Oct. 25, 2026.
"NHL fans are fiercely loyal and passionate and happen to be some of the most active on-demand delivery consumers," said Chris Falkiner, NHL Group Vice President of Business Development. "DoorDash reaches thousands of communities across Canada and the United States, fueling game night ordering for fans everywhere the League plays."
DoorDash said it plans to announce additional promotions and sweepstakes for NHL fans, including a trigger promotion tied to in-game activity. This marks the company's first partnership with the NHL.
