Fluence Energy cuts fiscal 2026 revenue outlook on supply chain woes

September 16, 2026 4:16 PM

Fluence Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: FLNC) has lowered its fiscal year 2026 financial guidance, citing ongoing supply chain problems at its U.S. contract manufacturing facility in Houston, according to a company statement.

The Arlington, Virginia-based energy storage company now expects revenue of approximately $2.4 billion for fiscal year 2026, down from a prior guidance midpoint of approximately $3.0 billion. The company also revised its adjusted EBITDA outlook to a loss of approximately $200.0 million, compared to a previously expected loss of approximately $10.0 million.

"We continue to experience delays in the ramp up of our contract manufacturing facility in Houston which is the primary reason we are now lowering our fiscal year 2026 financial guidance," said Julian Nebreda, President and Chief Executive Officer. He added that the company is restructuring its operational organization and that its contract manufacturer has implemented corrective actions that have already increased daily production levels.

Chief Financial Officer Ahmed Pasha said the company's priority is converting its backlog into revenue and cash, and that its objective for fiscal year 2027 is to generate neutral to positive operating cash flow without requiring external capital. The company plans to provide a detailed business update for fiscal year 2027 when it reports fiscal year 2026 results.

Fluence said its international supply chain has continued to perform well and that demand for its products remains strong domestically and internationally.
