Gossamer Bio, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOSS) announced the appointment of Greg Ciongoli to its board of directors, effective September 16, 2026. Ciongoli will also serve on the company's Audit Committee, according to a press release.

Ciongoli is the founder and managing partner of Adiumentum Capital Management, a Boston-based investment firm he established in April 2024. Before founding Adiumentum, he was a partner at the Baupost Group, where he worked on public and private equity investments.

He currently serves on the boards of REGENXBIO Inc., Zymeworks, Inc., and Atara Biotherapeutics, Inc. Ciongoli holds an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
