Air Canada COO Mark Nasr named to Canada's Top 40 Under 40 for 2026
Air Canada's Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Mark Nasr, has been named to Canada's Top 40 Under 40 for 2026, according to a statement from the airline.
The award, founded in 1995 by Caldwell, recognizes Canadians under the age of 40 for achievement, leadership, and community contribution. An independent advisory board of 18 members met on June 10, 2026, to select honorees based on five criteria: career progression, leadership, vision and innovation, community involvement and corporate social responsibility, and impact and influence.
Nasr currently oversees flight operations, maintenance and engineering, airports, in-flight service, contact centers, crew planning and scheduling, and regional express carriers at Air Canada (TSX: AC).

Before his current role, Nasr served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital and President of Aeroplan, where he led the redesign of the loyalty program and oversaw the airline's technology, data, and digital operations.
Air Canada board chair Vagn Sørensen said in the statement: "Mark has consistently combined vision, innovation and disciplined execution. In his current role, he brings that same energy and focus to engaging with and supporting our frontline colleagues, while keeping the needs of customers and the communities we serve at the centre of our decisions."
