Quad to deploy in-store digital screens at 25 Smart & Final locations
Quad/Graphics (NYSE: QUAD) is expanding its In-Store Connect retail media network through a new partnership with Chedraui USA, deploying digital in-store screens across 25 Smart & Final grocery stores in California this fall, according to a company press release.
The digital screens will be placed at strategic locations throughout the participating stores, giving brands a way to reach shoppers with content at or near the point of purchase. The rollout targets consumer packaged goods brands seeking to engage customers in Smart & Final's warehouse-style store format, which serves both household and small-business customers.
"By combining technology with valuable measurement capabilities, In-Store Connect gives us a new way to enhance the shopping experience for both customers and vendor partners, while continuing to evolve our long-term marketing strategy," said Matt Reeve, SVP of Sales, Marketing & Merchandising at Chedraui USA.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between Quad and Smart & Final that includes print and production support for weekly circular programs. Quad said it will provide an integrated solution covering content, technology, production and store execution for the new digital media component.
Chedraui USA, based in Los Angeles, operates over 380 grocery locations across five states under the Smart & Final, El Super, and Fiesta Mart banners. It is a subsidiary of Grupo Comercial Chedraui, a Mexican retailer, and is described as the fourth-largest grocery operator in California.
Quad employs approximately 10,000 people across 10 countries and serves around 2,100 clients.
