MicroVision displays lidar portfolio at IAA Transportation 2026
MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS) is presenting its sensing and perception portfolio at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany, running September 15-20, according to a company press release.
The company is showcasing several products and technologies at Hall 11, Booth D02, including the newly introduced MicroVision Perception Platform, its MOVIA S short-range lidar, HALO long-range lidar, a first look at its FMCW ultra-long-range sensing technology, and a commercial vehicle perception concept.
MicroVision said production of the next-generation MOVIA S configuration is expected to begin in October 2026. The company is conducting driving demonstrations at the event featuring MOVIA S and HALO operating together.
The FMCW technology on display represents what MicroVision describes as an anticipated form factor for its ultra-long-range sensing system. The company acquired the FMCW technology through its Scantinel subsidiary.

The commercial vehicle concept shown at the event combines the MicroVision Perception Platform with MOVIA S and HALO sensors, with potential applications spanning highway trucking, autonomous freight, last-mile delivery, buses, and logistics fleets.
"IAA gives customers the opportunity to see our Lidar 2.0 strategy come together in one place," said Glen DeVos, Chief Executive Officer of MicroVision. "We're demonstrating the breadth of our portfolio, but more importantly, we're showing how those technologies can work together to solve very different perception challenges."
MicroVision executives are also scheduled to host two presentations during the event: one on short-range perception in commercial vehicles on September 15, and another on long-range perception technologies on September 16.
