Salesforce and Google Cloud expand partnership with Hyperforce and AI agents
Salesforce and Google Cloud announced an expanded strategic partnership at Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco, aimed at connecting their respective platforms through shared infrastructure and data access.
A key element of the agreement is Hyperforce on Google Cloud, which is already processing live production customer traffic. Salesforce plans to begin migrating select U.S. customers to Google Cloud infrastructure in Q4 2026. The move is intended to allow Salesforce workloads to run on Google Cloud while maintaining existing security and compliance standards.
Google Cloud has implemented Salesforce's headless architecture, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) open standard, enabling Salesforce data and capabilities to be accessed directly within Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise platform without custom integrations. Supported use cases include pipeline health checks, account summaries, and case triage across sales, service, finance, and advertising workflows.

Tableau analytics will also be available within Gemini Enterprise, with governance, row-level security, and semantic models enforced during agent queries. Separately, Google's Gemini models will be available natively within Salesforce's Agentforce platform to support autonomous AI agent development.
Beginning this fall, Salesforce Commerce Cloud will power product discovery and purchasing directly within Google Search, including AI Mode, and the Gemini app. Merchants can send product catalog data to Google Merchant Center through a native feed integration and enable end-to-end checkout within Google surfaces using the Universal Commerce Protocol while retaining payments and order management on their existing infrastructure.
SharkNinja is among the joint customers using the integrated platforms, combining Gemini Live's multimodal capabilities with Agentforce for consumer product engagement, according to a statement from the company.
