Rockwell Automation joins Anthropic's Project Glasswing for cyber defense
Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) has joined Anthropic's Project Glasswing, an initiative aimed at strengthening cybersecurity across critical infrastructure, according to a company press release.
Through the program, Rockwell security teams will have controlled access to Claude Mythos 5, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to help identify, validate, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in software and connected industrial systems.
Anthropic launched Project Glasswing in April 2026 to provide approved organizations with access to Claude Mythos Preview for defensive cybersecurity work. The initiative started with approximately 50 partners and has since expanded to around 150 additional organizations across more than 15 countries. Participating organizations include those that provide or support critical infrastructure in areas such as power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware.

Tony Baker, vice president and Chief Product Security Officer at Rockwell Automation, said in a statement: "By participating in Project Glasswing, we are applying advanced AI capabilities in a controlled, defensive way to help identify and address vulnerabilities faster and support the resilience of the industrial ecosystem."
Rockwell Automation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, employs approximately 26,000 people and operates in more than 100 countries.
