Teledyne e2v launches Perciva ToF 3D industrial camera
Teledyne e2v, a unit of Teledyne Technologies (NYSE: TDY), has announced the Perciva ToF, an industrial-grade 3D Time-of-Flight camera designed for use in logistics, robotics, inspection, and surveillance applications.
The camera is powered by Teledyne e2v's Hydra3D+ CMOS image sensor and offers 832 x 600 pixel resolution. It uses the company's patented HiRho technology, which the company says increases fill factor times quantum efficiency at near-infrared wavelengths. The camera features a 10 µm three-tap pixel architecture intended to support longer operating distances and detection of low-reflectivity materials.
Perciva ToF includes on-camera processing and factory calibration, delivering depth maps and point cloud data through a GigE interface. The design is intended to reduce the complexity of system integration for developers and system integrators.

The camera is built to operate in conditions that include varying outdoor illumination and interference from other systems, without requiring interconnected cameras, according to the company's press release.
Teledyne e2v plans to demonstrate the Perciva ToF at the VISION trade show in Stuttgart, Germany, from October 6 to 8, 2026, at Hall 8, Booth 8B10. Documentation and samples are available upon request.
