Quantum Corporation (Nasdaq: QMCO) has appointed Mike Heuer as its Chief Information Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement. Heuer most recently served as CIO of Legence, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he built the company's IT function and supported growth through more than 20 acquisitions. Before that, he was Head of Global Information Technology at Blackhawk Network, leading deployment of enterprise ERP and CRM platforms across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Earlier roles included technology leadership positions at Peet's Coffee, Blue Shield of California, and Applied Materials. He began his career in Accenture's artificial intelligence practice. Heuer holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Northwestern University.

The grant is subject to his continued employment and is expected to take effect on or around October 1, 2026, under Quantum's 2021 Inducement Plan.
