Anthropic launches Claude for financial advisors with industry connectors
Anthropic has released Claude for Financial Advisors, a suite of connectors and workflow tools designed to assist registered investment advisers with research, meeting preparation, and documentation tasks, according to a company statement.
The product includes integrations with firms including Charles Schwab, BlackRock, Envestnet, Orion, iCapital, Addepar, SS&C Black Diamond, Wealthbox, Wealth.com, Vanguard, and Zocks, alongside existing connectors for Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Morningstar, FactSet, and S&P Global. The integrations allow advisors to access custodial data, portfolio reporting, CRM records, and financial planning information within a single interface.
The plugin includes workflow tools covering meeting preparation, post-meeting notes, portfolio rebalance review, estate and tax briefs, alternative investment summaries, prospect intake, and compliance screening. The compliance skill is designed to flag content against the SEC Marketing Rule and help firms document AI usage under SEC rules.
Anthropic said investment recommendations, client communications, and compliance determinations remain subject to human review and approval. The system stages administrative actions such as CRM updates and draft client communications for advisor sign-off before execution.

Citing Kitces research, Anthropic noted that a typical advisory practice spends roughly one-sixth of its time in client meetings. The company also referenced the Employee Benefit Research Institute's 2026 Retirement Confidence Survey, which found that more than four in 10 American workers report uncertainty about where to seek financial or retirement planning advice.
The plugin is available immediately. Anthropic recommends its Enterprise plan for registered investment advisers, citing audit log capabilities that support recordkeeping requirements. Firms requesting a new Enterprise license before the end of September 2026 will receive a one-time usage credit.
BlackRock is launching a separate plugin for its Advisor Center platform, joining existing plugins from S&P Global and LSEG.
