Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: BKD) reported occupancy figures for August 2026, showing sequential growth across its portfolio of senior living communities.

According to the company, consolidated weighted average occupancy grew 50 basis points on a sequential basis, while same community weighted average occupancy rose 40 basis points. Month-end consolidated occupancy increased 40 basis points sequentially, with same community month-end occupancy up 30 basis points. Net move-in activity also improved sequentially for both the consolidated and same community portfolios.

As of August 31, 2026, Brookdale operated 532 communities across 41 states, with capacity to serve approximately 45,000 residents.
