Bullish reports $42.5B in total trading volume for August 2026
Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), a digital asset exchange platform, reported total trading volume of $42.5 billion for August 2026, according to its monthly metrics release.
Total spot trading volume for the month reached $35.8 billion, with Bitcoin spot trades accounting for $17.6 billion, Ethereum spot trades at $3.7 billion, stablecoin spot trades at $7.9 billion, and other spot trades at $6.6 billion. Options volume was $4.7 billion, while perpetual futures volume was $2.0 billion.
The average trading spread across all product types was 2.13 basis points in August. The spot average trading spread was 2.53 basis points, options spread was 0.14 basis points, and the perpetual spread was negative 0.32 basis points.
Monthly average volatility for Bitcoin was 30% in August, down from 32% in July. Ethereum average volatility was 39% in August, down from 44% in July.
