Seagate Technology Holdings (NASDAQ: STX) announced that board member Shankar Arumugavelu notified the company's Board of Directors on September 2, 2026, that he would not stand for re-election at the company's 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

Arumugavelu will remain in his role as director until the conclusion of the annual meeting. According to the company's statement, his decision was not related to any disagreement with the company over its operations, policies, or practices.
