Quantum Cyber seeks manufacturing partners for quantum-photonic antenna
Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) has issued a call for applications from qualified foundries, contract manufacturers, and applied research-and-development organizations to build the first working prototype of its licensed quantum-photonic antenna front-end for unmanned aerial systems.
The Norwalk, Connecticut-based company said applications are due by September 18, 2026, submitted under reference EX-QPA-RFI-001. The solicitation is a private-sector sourcing action and is not connected to any U.S. government contract or agency endorsement.
The antenna technology is covered under an exclusive worldwide intellectual property license agreement Quantum Cyber signed with Project LightShift, Inc. on June 11, 2026, for defense and national-security UAS applications. The company said no prototype has yet been built or tested, and design specifications referenced are internal targets that have not been independently validated.
The anticipated prototype scope includes feasibility assessment, process definition, fabrication, packaging, testing, and delivery of at least one operating unit with full documentation. The company said it prefers partners capable of completing prototype development within six months.
Quantum Cyber is offering two commercial frameworks: a direct paid development option and a strategic partnership or equity-linked structure. The company stated that no equity, exclusivity, license, investment, or partnership is offered or promised by the inquiry.
"Executing the Project LightShift license in June was our first public commitment that the quantum layer of our platform would be real. Today's call for applications is the second," said David Lazar, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Cyber.
The company also said its Bridgeport, Connecticut manufacturing facility has completed its first mini-interceptor drone on-site, with an 80-unit 3D printing drone production operation advancing toward commissioning.
