Samsara Inc. (NYSE: IOT) reported second-quarter fiscal year 2027 results showing annual recurring revenue reached $2.1 billion, a 30% increase year over year, according to a company press release.

The company added 242 customers with $100,000 or more in ARR and 20 customers with $1 million or more in ARR during the quarter, which Samsara described as quarterly records for both categories. Net new ARR totaled $134 million, up 28% year over year.

ARR from customers spending $1 million or more surpassed $500 million, growing more than 50% year over year for the third consecutive quarter. Among customers with more than $100,000 in ARR, 96% subscribe to at least two products and 72% subscribe to at least three products.

The quarter marked Samsara's fourth consecutive period of GAAP earnings per share profitability. Emerging products contributed more than 20% of net new annual contract value for the third straight quarter.

New large customer wins included APi Group and Sonepar. Samsara also reported expansions with existing customers, including one of the five largest U.S. cities, which extended its deployment across multiple departments covering 7,600 lane miles.

"Large organizations are bringing more of their operations onto Samsara as they digitize," said Amit Vyas, chief revenue officer at Samsara. "What begins with one use case often grows into the platform they rely on across assets, teams, and workflows."

During the quarter, Samsara introduced several products, including a Tracking Label for shipment visibility, an AI-powered Shipment Center, AI Agents for safety and maintenance tasks, Voice Agents through its AI Dash Cam, and additional camera detection features. The company reported that adoption of some recent AI features increased more than fourfold over the prior two months.

Samsara said it now collects more than 30 trillion data points annually, up more than 40% year over year. Over the past year, customers digitized 340 million workflows and logged 105 billion miles on the platform.
