Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL) announced a seven-figure, one-year contract with an undisclosed European defense and intelligence customer, according to a press release from the San Francisco-based company.

The agreement will provide the customer with Planet Mosaics satellite imagery products and dedicated Professional Services support for operational planning across land and maritime areas of interest.

"Defense and intelligence organizations around the globe rely on Planet's high-frequency, scalable satellite solutions to address complex and fast-evolving security environments," said Jon Powers, Vice President of Global Defense and Intelligence at Planet.

The contract follows several other defense-sector agreements announced earlier in the year, including deals with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the Swedish Armed Forces, and the Defense Innovation Unit.
