Rail Vision Ltd. (Nasdaq: RVSN) announced it has been selected for MxV Rail's locomotive sensor pre-integration testing program, advancing the company's participation in the Train Control, Communications, and Operations (TCCO) Technology Roadmap Program.

MxV Rail, a subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads (AAR), manages the program, which is focused on developing Restricted Speed Enforcement (RSE) capabilities for the North American freight rail industry. Rail Vision was first included in the Technology Roadmap Program in December 2024.

The testing phase moves Rail Vision from participation in the broader technology roadmap into active evaluation of its AI-powered sensor technology in real-world rail environments, with exposure to Class I railroads.

"Being selected for MxV Rail's testing program is an important milestone for Rail Vision," said David BenDavid, Chief Executive Officer of Rail Vision. "This evaluation moves us beyond preliminary frameworks and places our advanced perception technology directly in front of the industry's primary decision-makers."

Rail Vision, based in Ra'anana, Israel, develops multi-spectral electro-optic platforms that use machine learning algorithms to identify and classify obstacles on railways. The company describes itself as being in an early commercialization stage.

MxV Rail conducts railroad equipment testing, provides training for U.S. member railroads, and supports the development of industry requirements and standards across North America.
