Archer Aviation launches U.S. city-to-city air taxi flight tour

September 3, 2026 8:01 AM

Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) has launched a flight tour called "No Roads," expanding its city-to-city flight test program across the United States in coordination with the FAA.

The tour begins in Northern California, with planned flights in Hollister, Monterey, San Martin, San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. Flights in the Los Angeles area, Texas, and Florida are also planned. The announcement follows more than 70 test flights completed in August and a piloted roundtrip flight between Salinas Municipal Airport and Monterey Regional Airport.

According to the company, the tour is intended to advance its operational readiness as the Official Air Taxi Provider of the LA28 Games and as a participant in the White House's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

Archer's Midnight aircraft is a piloted, four-passenger, all-electric air taxi. The company states that routes covered during the tour can take an hour or more by car but approximately 10 to 20 minutes by air.

"This is the beginning of that story and our biggest step yet toward making air taxis an everyday reality in cities across America," said Adam Goldstein, Founder and CEO of Archer.

During the tour, Archer plans to unveil charging locations across multiple states as part of the ACES (America's Consortium for Electric Skyways) program, a consortium it operates alongside BETA Technologies and Macquarie Capital.
