Costco Wholesale Corporation (Nasdaq: COST) reported net sales of $23.70 billion for the four weeks ended August 30, 2026, a 9.9% increase from $21.56 billion in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release.

For the 16-week fourth quarter, net sales reached $93.9 billion, up 11.3% from $84.4 billion. Full fiscal year net sales for the 52 weeks ended August 30, 2026, totaled $297.3 billion, a 10.2% increase from $269.9 billion the prior year.

Total comparable sales for the four-week retail month rose 8.4%, with U.S. comparable sales up 9.0%, Canada up 4.0%, and other international markets up 9.5%. Digitally-enabled comparable sales increased 17.9% for the month.

Excluding the effects of gasoline price changes and foreign exchange, total company comparable sales rose 5.4% for the four-week period, with the U.S. up 5.6%, Canada up 2.8%, and other international markets up 6.8%.

Costco noted that the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. and Canada falls one week later this year, which the company said negatively affected August total and comparable sales by just under 75 basis points.

Costco currently operates 939 warehouses, including 647 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 115 in Canada, 43 in Mexico, 37 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, and locations across Korea, Australia, Taiwan, China, Spain, France, Sweden, Iceland, and New Zealand.
