Lakeland Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: LAKE) announced it has been awarded a contract to supply airfield rescue and fire fighting protective equipment to Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited, the operator of six principal international airports in Thailand.

The contract covers Lakeland's Battalion proximity turnout gear and certified firefighting helmets. The gear features an aluminized outer shell designed to reflect radiant heat and is certified to NFPA 1970:2025, the standard governing structural and proximity firefighting protective ensembles. The garments include an ergonomic sleeve design, reinforced cuffs, visibility elements and mission-specific pockets.

Airports of Thailand operates Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai airports, which collectively served approximately 126 million passengers in fiscal year 2025.

The award followed a qualification process that included technical evaluations, certification reviews, product performance demonstrations and training sessions for airfield rescue and fire fighting personnel across the airport network.

"This award reflects exactly how we compete in the global fire market, pairing newly certified, high-performance products with the technical expertise required to support customers through rigorous qualification processes," said Jim Jenkins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lakeland Fire + Safety.
