Tencent Music plans senior unsecured notes offering

Tencent Music Entertainment Group (NYSE: TME and HKEX: 1698) announced a proposed public offering of senior unsecured notes in one or more tranches, subject to market conditions and other factors, according to a press release dated Sept. 1, 2026.

The notes have been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and are expected to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The company said it intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of offshore indebtedness and share repurchases.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C., and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited are serving as joint bookrunners. UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, Bank of China Limited, and MUFG Securities Asia Limited are serving as joint lead managers.

Tencent Music has filed a preliminary prospectus supplement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the offering.
