Yext launches SMB tool and expands AI visibility platform

September 1, 2026 8:00 AM

Yext (NYSE: YEXT) announced an expansion of its agentic marketing platform and the launch of a new product for small businesses, according to a company press release.

The company introduced Corvo AI, described as a proactive agent built for small business owners. Corvo AI sends text-based marketing recommendations to business owners via a mobile-first, natural-language interface. The product is available at no cost.

Yext also expanded Scout, its enterprise-focused platform, to include brand-level AI visibility optimization across a broader range of sources that AI systems cite. The company said early use of the new capabilities doubled inbound leads for one customer, a programmatic advertising platform. Yext also reported that it used Scout internally to grow its own AI visibility by 147% in two weeks. The expanded Scout capabilities are being piloted with a limited number of enterprise customers ahead of a broader release scheduled for September 30, 2026.

Action Center, a tool that allows brands to manage Yext agents across listings, reviews, social media, and the Yext Knowledge Graph, reached general availability for all customers on August 5. New features include localizing brand posts and converting five-star reviews into social content.

The announcements coincide with Yext's fiscal second quarter 2027 results and are scheduled to be featured at the company's customer conference, Envision, on September 30, 2026.

According to a Corporate Ink survey cited in the release, 88% of CMOs and VP-level marketers report being asked by leadership about AI visibility, while only 34% of marketers surveyed say they have a defined AI visibility strategy.

"Every brand is heading toward the same future: agents executing marketing at a scale no team could reach on its own," said Michael Walrath, chairman and CEO of Yext.
