SciSparc Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPRC) announced that its subsidiary NeuroThera Labs Inc. has enrolled 26 children in a clinical trial evaluating SCI-210, a treatment for autism spectrum disorder, according to a press release.

The trial, conducted at Soroka Medical Center in Israel, is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study targeting a total of 60 participants between the ages of five and 18. Each participant will receive treatment over a 20-week period.

SCI-210 combines cannabidiol (CBD) with CannAmide™, NeuroThera's proprietary Palmitoylethanolamide-based formulation. The trial is designed to compare SCI-210 against CBD monotherapy to assess whether the dual-compound approach offers additional benefit.

Primary efficacy endpoints include the Aberrant Behavior Checklist-Community parent questionnaire, the Clinical Global Impressions-Improvement clinician assessment, and determination of an optimal therapeutic dose.

The study was designed in collaboration with the National Autism Research Center in Israel. If the clinical program is completed successfully and regulatory approvals are obtained, NeuroThera intends to pursue commercialization of SCI-210, initially in Israel and then in other markets.
