SEALSQ outlines $24.5M quantum computing investment strategy
SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) has detailed its quantum computing investment strategy, which includes approximately $24.5 million in direct stakes across two pure-play quantum computing companies, according to a statement issued Aug. 31, 2026.
The Geneva-based company invested €15 million (approximately $17.5 million) in Quobly, a France-based developer of silicon-based quantum processors using spin qubits. SEALSQ participated as a lead investor in Quobly's €115 million Series A financing round, which closed June 2, 2026. The investment includes governance rights and a seat on Quobly's supervisory board.
SEALSQ also made a $7 million investment in EeroQ, a U.S.-based company developing quantum computing architecture based on electrons on helium.
On July 10, 2026, SEALSQ and Quobly announced a separate $5 million commercial agreement under which Quobly will integrate SEALSQ's post-quantum security technologies and secure semiconductor solutions into its silicon quantum computing platform. The agreement covers Cryo-CMOS ASIC technology, hardware root-of-trust, post-quantum cryptography, and PKI services.
The two investments form part of SEALSQ's broader SEALQUANTUM initiative, for which the company has announced a target capital allocation of $200 million. SEALSQ reports more than $60 million has been deployed across its quantum and post-quantum ecosystem to date.
SEALSQ describes its strategy as a Sovereign Quantum Vertical Stack, spanning root-of-trust hardware through quantum computing. The company states the model is designed to generate revenue through technology contracts, ASIC design, semiconductor sales, and engineering services across its portfolio companies.
