CrowdStrike and CLEAR partner to link biometric identity to threat detection

August 31, 2026 7:56 AM

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and CLEAR (NYSE: YOU) announced a strategic partnership that integrates CLEAR's identity platform, CLEAR1, with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, according to a press release issued August 31, 2026.

The integration connects Falcon's risk detection with CLEAR1's person-based verification system. When Falcon detects potential risk, it triggers CLEAR1 to verify the identity of the user in real time. CLEAR1 uses biometrics and government-issued identification, verified against authoritative sources, to establish confidence in a person's identity.

The integration works with existing CrowdStrike capabilities, including Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Charlotte Agentic SOAR, allowing organizations to incorporate person-based verification into existing security workflows.

"Identity is at the center of how organizations operate and how adversaries attack," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. "Bringing CrowdStrike and CLEAR together gives customers a new way to put high-assurance person-based verification to work as part of their security strategy."

Brett Romanoff, EVP of CLEAR1, said the verification capability is now available at the point when security decisions are being made. "By verifying the person when risk emerges, organizations can make more informed decisions while keeping trusted users moving," he said.

The integration is available for existing CrowdStrike and CLEAR1 customers to activate immediately. CLEAR states it has over 43 million members across its platform.
