Polar Power DC generator integrated into MSI anti-drone system
Polar Power, Inc. (NASDAQ: POLA) announced that its DC generator has been integrated into MSI Defense Solutions' Electronic Advanced Ground Launcher System, known as EAGLS™, a system designed for automatic threat detection, classification, and interception of aerial threats.
According to a company press release, the EAGLS™ system is currently deployed in the Middle East. The system incorporates 360-degree radar, laser-guided rockets, and remote weapon stations, and is designed to operate independently or as part of a broader defense network.
MSI Defense Solutions is a U.S. defense technology and systems integration company that specializes in counter-UAS solutions, tactical ground platforms, and maritime weapons integration.
Polar Power, based in Gardena, California, designs and manufactures direct-current power systems. The company stated it is pursuing a customer diversification strategy that includes military applications such as drone defense, robotics, unmanned surface vessels, communications, and battery charging.
The company said it intends to position itself as a supplier of field power infrastructure for unmanned systems operating in remote, off-grid, and mission-critical environments.
