Perpetua Resources Corp. (Nasdaq: PPTA) provided an update on construction and exploration activities at its Stibnite Gold Project in central Idaho, according to a company press release dated Aug. 31, 2026.

Fabrication of dual autoclave components has begun at a facility in Europe following purchase orders placed earlier this year. The autoclaves are key processing equipment for gold extraction at the site. Permanent worker housing is also progressing, with roughly half of the ATCO-supplied modular units delivered to the site as of Aug. 24, 2026. The remaining units are staged in Cascade, Idaho, approximately 75 miles away, with deliveries occurring nearly daily.

Exploration drilling is underway using four rigs, with approximately 5,800 meters completed of a planned 10,000-meter program. At the Clark Tunnel Fault Zone, recent drilling returned intercepts including 6.4 meters of 16.2 g/t gold and 1.7% antimony from surface, and 15.0 meters of 6.3 g/t gold and 0.8% antimony from an 11-meter depth. A new gold-tungsten discovery returned 21.3 meters of 3.2 g/t gold and 0.9% tungsten from a 24-meter depth. The company noted any tungsten development would require separate environmental review and permitting.

On July 29, 2026, Perpetua Resources, the U.S. Army, and Idaho National Laboratory opened a modular antimony processing plant in Idaho Falls. The facility will initially process antimony samples from Stibnite into antimony trisulfide for military use. Since 2022, Perpetua has received over $87 million in U.S. government funding, including more than $59 million in Defense Production Act funds.

On Aug. 18, 2026, the U.S. District Court of Idaho upheld federal approvals for the Stibnite Gold Project, rejecting challenges under multiple environmental laws. The court remanded a narrow issue regarding Incidental Take Statements to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for clarification of monitoring measures. Plaintiffs have filed an appeal, though Perpetua states it continues critical path construction activities.
