Vivos Therapeutics signs deal for Florida sleep center with cardiologists
Vivos Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVOS) has signed definitive collaboration and operating agreements with South Palm Cardiovascular Associates, LLC (SPCVA) to establish a Sleep & Airway Medicine Center (SAMC) in Palm Beach County, Florida, according to a company statement.
The agreements provide a framework for forming AIM Florida, LLC, a physician-aligned management services organization. Vivos expects to hold a 75% majority of the membership and economic interests in AIM Florida, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
The parties are currently evaluating potential locations and negotiating a lease for an initial facility. The center is expected to begin treating patients and generating revenue in the first quarter of 2027, pending site selection, lease execution, build-out, licensing, payer enrollment and staffing.
The operating plan calls for an initial Sleep Optimization Team capable of serving approximately 250 patients per month. Vivos stated the initial team could generate up to $6 million in annual revenue with contribution margins of 30% or more, based on its operating experience in Las Vegas. Additional teams may be added as demand develops.
SPCVA is a physician-owned cardiology practice with approximately 30,000 patients of record operating across multiple locations in Palm Beach County and surrounding South Florida communities.
Dr. Andres Ruiz of SPCVA said the practice sees the impact of obstructive sleep apnea daily and views Vivos' FDA-cleared approach as "an important opportunity to address this condition more directly and effectively."
The planned center is expected to offer sleep testing, medical evaluation and treatment options including positive airway pressure therapy, oral appliances, laser therapy and myofunctional therapy. Vivos states its CARE appliances are the only oral medical devices FDA-cleared to treat moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea in adults and children ages 6 to 17.
The definitive agreements build on a preliminary collaboration announced June 10, 2026. Vivos CEO R. Kirk Huntsman noted the company continues to evaluate similar opportunities with medical groups in other U.S. markets.
