Wecan Group to list WECAN token on SwissBorg platform
Wecan Group SA, a majority-owned subsidiary of SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES), has entered into a partnership with SwissBorg, a Swiss digital-asset platform, under which SwissBorg intends to list the WECAN token, according to a press release.
The listing remains subject to the completion of applicable technical, regulatory, and compliance procedures. The precise date on which the WECAN token will become available through SwissBorg will be communicated separately once those processes are complete.
Wecan Group provides compliance and data-management infrastructure to more than 100 banks, insurers, financial intermediaries, and other regulated organizations, covering processes such as Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, and client onboarding.
SEALSQ acquired an initial 28.3% equity stake in Wecan in June 2025 and moved to a majority position in June 2026, alongside a CHF 5 million commitment from its internal SEALQUANTUM Quantum Fund. The investment is intended to accelerate Wecan's AI-powered compliance tools and post-quantum financial security roadmap.
"Wecan built a compliance infrastructure that regulated institutions already trust, and SwissBorg built a regulated platform that hundreds of thousands of clients trust," said Carlos Moreira, Chairman and CEO of SEALSQ.
Vincent Pignon, Founder and CEO of Wecan, said the selection of a Swiss platform with a focus on regulation, transparency, and compliance was essential to the company.
SwissBorg CEO and Co-Founder Cyrus Fazel said the listing would allow SwissBorg's community to access the compliance infrastructure that regulated digital finance relies on.
SwissBorg plans to support the introduction of Wecan to its community through a phased communications program that includes founder content, educational materials, and market commentary.
