Dune Oil names new CEO, COO, and board member ahead of November AGM
Dune Oil (CSE: DUNE) (OTCQB: TRLEF) (FSE: Z621) has announced several management and board changes, along with the scheduling of its 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for November 16, 2026.
Scott Lower, who previously served as the company's President, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Sean Stofer, who held the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer during the company's transition, will step down from that position and remain as Chairman of the Board. Lower holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, with 15 years of experience in oil and gas consulting and public-markets roles.
Jordan Coleman has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Coleman brings more than 18 years of international energy industry experience, including operations in the United States, Chad, Argentina, and Paraguay. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of CG International, an exploration company with assets in Chad. He previously held roles at Schlumberger Well Services and President Energy PLC.
Neil Maedel has been appointed to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Maedel has more than 45 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, and the international resource sector. He founded Zurich-based ProTrader Finanz AG and previously served as Director of Business Development for Manas Petroleum.
The company's AGM record date is set for October 2, 2026, with notice-and-access materials to be mailed October 16, 2026. Shareholders will be asked to set the number of directors at six, elect directors, appoint auditors, and consider the company's Long-Term Equity Incentive Plan.
Dune Oil focuses on oil exploration and production in Türkiye, holding an agreement to earn a 29% working interest in the M47 oil exploration block in southeastern Türkiye.
