E-Power Inc. (NASDAQ: EPOW) announced that its subsidiary, Shandong Sunrise Technology Co., Ltd., has been awarded a turnkey contract valued at RMB 343,473,000 (approximately $51.1 million) with Shandong Fusion New Material Co., Ltd.

The contract, executed June 25, 2026, covers the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of two battery anode production lines at the customer's facility in Laiwu District, Jinan, Shandong Province, China. Shandong Sunrise was selected through a competitive procurement process.

The first production line is for artificial graphite anode material, with a designed annual capacity of 20,000 tons. The second is a silicon-carbon anode line with a designed capacity of 1,000 tons per year, incorporating CVD silicon-carbon deposition and high-temperature graphite carbonization processes.

The fixed-price contract includes process and equipment design, equipment supply, on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, and technical documentation.

According to the company, the award follows a strategic cooperation framework agreement signed with the customer in March 2026, under which E-Power's engineering team had already been providing project support.

"This award reflects something we have believed for a long time: the process know-how we have accumulated in building and operating our own anode plants is itself a valuable asset," said Haiping Hu, founder, CEO and Chairman of E-Power Inc.

The company described the contract as its largest technology and equipment award to date, and said it represents an expansion of its business from materials manufacturing into equipment and technology services. Work under the contract is underway.
