Visa (NYSE: V) announced enhancements to its cybersecurity portfolio, including an updated version of its open-source Visa Vulnerability Agentic Harness (VVAH) framework and three new advisory services from its Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) division.

The latest VVAH release extends the framework's capabilities from vulnerability discovery into remediation and validation. According to the company, some vulnerability resolutions have been reduced from weeks to hours. New features include closed-loop remediation feedback, support for Anthropic and OpenAI models alongside other AI models, and optional real-time visibility into scans and remediation workflows.

The three new VCA cybersecurity advisory services are: AI Cyber Leadership Education, offering executive workshops and certification courses; a VVAH-Informed Cybersecurity Maturity Assessment; and a VVAH Cyber Risk Prioritization and Roadmap service providing strategic guidance on remediation planning.

"AI is compressing the time between vulnerability discovery and exploitation, which means defenders need a faster, more reliable path to action," said Rajat Taneja, President of Technology at Visa.

Since its open-source release in June 2026, VVAH has been downloaded by tens of thousands of developers. Visa said it has joined Nvidia's Open Secure AI Alliance, contributing VVAH as a model-agnostic framework, and is collaborating with IBM and Red Hat through their Project Lightwell initiative to help secure open-source software.
