Ardmore Shipping Corporation (NYSE: ASC) has exercised options to order two additional 40,500 deadweight ton Handysize product/chemical tankers at Wuhu Shipyard, bringing its total order at the shipyard to six vessels.

According to a press release, the expanded order is on similar terms to the original contract, and the company states it has no further options outstanding. Deliveries of all six vessels are scheduled to begin in late 2028.
