Champion Homes adds Eagle Materials CEO to its board of directors
Champion Homes, Inc. (NYSE: SKY) has appointed Michael Haack as an independent director to its board, effective August 24, 2026, according to a company statement.
With the addition, the Champion Homes board now consists of seven directors, six of whom are independent. Haack will also join the board's Compensation Committee.
Haack has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Materials Inc. since 2019 and holds a seat on that company's board. Eagle Materials is a U.S. manufacturer of heavy construction products and light building materials, including Portland Cement and Gypsum Wallboard. During his tenure at Eagle Materials, Haack led acquisitions totaling more than $1.6 billion. Before joining Eagle Materials, he spent more than 17 years at Halliburton in manufacturing, operational, and global leadership roles.
Haack also serves on the board of Terra CO2 and previously served on the board of 2Source Manufacturing Inc. He holds an MBA from Rice University, a master's degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University, and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
Michael Berman, Chair of the Champion Homes board, said Haack "brings deep experience leading complex industrial organizations – a perspective that inevitably will be beneficial to our Board."
Champion Homes employs approximately 9,200 people and operates 46 manufacturing facilities across the United States and western Canada.
