August 26, 2026 4:08 PM

Grid Dynamics Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GDYN) has appointed Nikita Ivanov as Vice President and Head of AI, according to a company statement. In the role, Ivanov will oversee the company's AI portfolio, including its Grid Dynamics AI Native (GAIN) platforms, and lead efforts to help enterprise clients move from AI pilots to production deployments.

Ivanov has more than two decades of experience founding and leading technology companies. He previously founded GridGain, a distributed computing company focused on in-memory data processing, where he served for 15 years. During that time, he also founded the natural language processing framework Apache NLPCraft and Humatron AI, an AI workforce platform. Most recently, he served as Field CTO for GenAI at DataStax.

Chief Technology Officer Dr. Eugene Steinberg said in the statement that AI now accounts for more than 30% of Grid Dynamics' total revenue, citing the company's AI investments dating back to 2018. Grid Dynamics has released several AI software development lifecycle tools — Allium, Rosetta, and SpecFlow — as open-source projects.

"Enterprises are rapidly moving beyond AI pilots toward AI-native software delivery and hybrid AI workforce operations," Ivanov said. "My focus is on accelerating that transition for our clients while ensuring Grid Dynamics remains at the cutting edge of AI innovation."

Grid Dynamics, founded in 2006 and headquartered in San Ramon, Calif., provides AI and technology services to Fortune 1000 companies.
