T3 Defense unit wins first licensed software deal for AI platform

August 26, 2026 9:30 AM

T3 Defense Inc. (NASDAQ: DFNS) subsidiary Tiltan Software Engineering Ltd. has been selected by an undisclosed sensor systems developer to license Majestic.ai, Tiltan's synthetic data generation platform, according to a company statement.

The engagement marks the first time Majestic.ai will be delivered as software operated by the customer, rather than as a managed service in which Tiltan produces datasets on the customer's behalf. The company did not disclose the financial terms, scope, or identity of the customer.

Majestic.ai is a physics-based platform that generates labeled image and video datasets used to train and validate AI systems. It supports electro-optical, infrared, LiDAR, and synthetic aperture radar sensors across land, maritime, air, and space environments. The license will be bundled with Tiltan's T-VERSE geospatial 3D content.

"Licensing Majestic.ai puts the engine, and the content behind it, directly into the customer's hands," said Menny Shalom, chairman and chief executive of T3 Defense. "That is a different business than project-by-project services."

Ehud Shafir, chief executive of Tiltan, said the selection "validates the maturity of the platform and the demand for customer-operated synthetic data generation."

T3 Defense noted that Majestic.ai has not yet been delivered under this engagement and no revenue has been recognized. The company cautioned that there is no assurance regarding delivery timing, revenue recognition, or whether the engagement will lead to additional licensed-software programs.
