Brightline Interactive, Inc. (NASDAQ: BTLN) announced a teaming agreement with Computer Systems Center Incorporated (CSCI) to potentially integrate Brightline's SpatialCore platform into LIFTOff Louisiana, a test site operating under the Federal Aviation Administration's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

Under the agreement, Brightline will serve as a subcontractor to CSCI. SpatialCore would be used to ingest, normalize, and integrate operational data from uncrewed aircraft systems, eVTOL aircraft, radar systems, and associated sensors into a single shared data environment accessible to participating systems regardless of manufacturer.

According to the company, this marks the first deployment of SpatialCore outside the defense sector. The platform was co-developed over four years with the U.S. Navy and is built on open data standards used by Nvidia and Apple, among others. Brightline states the platform can reduce integration timelines between autonomous systems from approximately one year to a matter of weeks.

"America's skies are getting busier every year," said Tyler Gates, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brightline. "We built SpatialCore in defense, and we've been deliberate in communicating that our next chapter would be bringing it to civil government and commercial markets."

CSCI, a woman-owned small business headquartered in Springfield, Virginia, brings more than 39 years of experience in government systems engineering, integration, and cybersecurity.

"Brightline gives us a way to bring aircraft, radar and sensor data into one shared picture that can easily expand as new participants join the program," said Linda LaRoche, CEO of CSCI.

The FAA's eIPP is designed to accelerate the integration of Advanced Air Mobility vehicles into the National Airspace System. The agreement does not guarantee a contract award, and integration of SpatialCore into the program remains conditional.
