Fifth Third Bancorp to dual list on NYSE Texas starting Aug. 27
Fifth Third Bancorp (NYSE: FITB) announced it will dual list its common stock on NYSE Texas in Dallas, effective August 27, 2026, while maintaining its primary listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the same "FITB" ticker symbol.
The bank said it plans to invest nearly $1 billion in Texas over the next five years, including 150 new financial centers opening across the state by 2029. Additionally, 106 existing Comerica financial centers in Texas are set to convert to the Fifth Third brand on September 8, creating a network of more than 250 locations in the state.
Fifth Third said the combined locations would place it among the top four banks by location share in Dallas, Houston, and Austin.
The Texas expansion is part of a broader national growth strategy the bank said is expected to increase its retail presence to approximately 1,750 locations by 2030, covering 17 of the 20 fastest-growing large U.S. metropolitan areas.
Fifth Third opened its first Texas financial center in Frisco in April 2026 and announced in May 2026 that it would establish its Texas regional headquarters in Dallas.
Bryan Daniel, president of NYSE Texas, said in a statement that Fifth Third's "growing presence across the state and commitment to serving Texas businesses and communities make it a strong addition to our market."
