Dow Jones unifies energy brands under new Dow Jones Energy unit
Dow Jones has consolidated its energy intelligence businesses under a single brand called Dow Jones Energy, bringing together several specialized firms that were previously operating independently.
The unified brand includes OPIS, Chemical Market Analytics, McCloskey, Axxis, PetroChem Wire, Eco-Movement and A2i. According to the company, the consolidation is intended to make it easier for customers to access the combined offerings across energy markets including oil, natural gas, refined and renewable fuels, petrochemical feedstocks, coal and electric vehicle infrastructure.
Dow Jones said the heritage brands will continue to be attributed as the explicit sources for all price assessments, methodologies and benchmarks within the new structure.
Sarah Cottle, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Dow Jones Energy, said in a statement: "By combining our deep proprietary data with world-class human expertise, Dow Jones Energy serves as the premier partner across interconnected markets—giving energy professionals the cross-market clarity they need to spot opportunities, manage risk and act with conviction."
Dow Jones is a division of News Corp (Nasdaq: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV).
